Iceni are gearing up for the 2010 season!

Getting ready to take on the world in Prague in July...
Iceni will be hosting joint open training sessions with Iso on Monday evenings starting this coming Monday evening, JANUARY 4th.
Here's what you need to know:
These are open to all reasonably experienced women (this won't be a beginners session and you'll be expected to have a basic knowledge of the game, but don't worry if you haven't mastered the full field forhand huck... still a dream for most of us.)
Practice runs from 7:30-9pm at Battersea track (directions below). Show up at 7 if you can to get yourself sorted and warmed up.
Practice itself will be focused on scrimmaging. A quick warm-up drill but as long as we start on time it should be a good hour plus of playing time. It is cold out these days, so we'll be focused on staying warm.
The Battersea folks request that you take your boots off before walking across the track surface so we don't bring mud inside or on the track.
Each session will cost £4 to attend. This covers our cost of renting the floodlit pitch in London. You do not have to pay for the track in addition to this - just let the Battersea desk attendees that you are there for the Ultimate Frisbee and they will let you in.
We'll be aiming to have trials at the end of Febuary, and it will most likely be a combined Iceni & Iso trial session (similar to last year), so if you are interested in trying out for either team, you should definitely be coming along to these open sessions!
It's not required that you let us know you're coming, but if you do plan on trying out for Iceni/Iso, it would be handy for us to get an idea of who is interested, so please email to let us know. Again, it's not required; it's just to help us see who's interested.
